In the high Southwest desert, "Nature" is apparent even in cities. Hawks are frequent visitors to my yard, in the middle of Albuquerque. This immature Cooper's hawk landed on the wall just outside my kitchen, and watched me preparing Christmas treats inside for some time, politely posing as well.
