Intuition: Ibiza through La Skimal is a walk through over 15 years of photography with a double thread: Ibiza and the artist’s intuition. As a result, we have a retrospective from a personal perspective. Isabel Flores presents us with a trip through her Ibiza, the island where she was born and also her Ibiza seasons – the base of her photographic evolution – showing us some of the stellar moments that she has lived, camera in hand. Intuition: Ibiza through La Skimal is an artistic project where the chronological and the random, the interactive and the sensitive, give form to a project in which the spectator’s participation is fundamental to understand it as a whole. An invitation to free oneself of looks and stereotypes, of letting oneself be guided by intuition and the look of a camera connected to the heart, from La Skimal. More information

“Isabel Flores, known as La Skimal, an audiovisual creator, has been documenting the most diverse cultures for 17 years, including that of her birthplace, Ibiza. In summer there, and in winter going to the most remote places in the world to transform experiences into documentary stories. As much as being the photographer of Paris Hilton or Idris Elba in Ibiza, she would jump to give photography classes at a Slam in Calcutta or accompany a Mexican shaman to the Wirikuta desert. He has lived in different capitals of the world to create synergies with artists from different disciplines and to be able to incorporate them into his own personal creative process. He has had individual and collective exhibitions around the world, and has participated in renowned festivals such as Format Festival, Experimental Photography or the Festival of Visual Arts in Mexico. In 2019, she was recognized with the Balearic Talent award for her career as a photographer and visual artist.
