ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Photographed in May 2019 - Etosha Pan during a Roadtrip through Namibia Signed, dated and inscribed with title and the edition number. Measurements (cm) Image Size - 40 x 30 White Border - 5 External Size - 50 x 40 Printed on 315g/m² Baryta Paper which has been used for Black & White Photography for more than 140 years. The key difference of Baryta paper lies in the barium sulfate coating. Ultra-white with a neutral image colour, the paper is outstanding at combining brilliant white with intense black tones. The shades of grey are nuanced, the contours extremely sharp. Thanks to the natural brilliance of the baryta coating, optical brighteners or laminations are no longer needed. This increases the silky paper's longevity by several decades and makes it the most durable photo paper in the world. The special developing process, the cutting-edge LightJet laser exposes the image onto the photo paper. This is followed by traditional silver halide developing, fixing and washing. At the end of the development process, the chemicals are washed for a particularly long time. In the grand style of vintage photographs, the white border lends the photo additional character and aesthetic refinement. With the border, the LightJet print on Ilford baryta paper can be inserted perfectly into a passe-partout.

Experiences are vital because no one can take those away from us." With her curiosity in hand, Sara travels from the deserts of the Middle East to out of the way Romanian villages taking photos that tell stories. “I never come home without bringing something with me.” Her photography tells stories and immortalises moments.
