ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My school memories of the physical phenomenon of Earth's magnetism force lines inspired the "Magnetic Flowers" project. Around the planet Earth that we inhabit, there are invisible presences. They are the force lines of a physical phenomenon called the magnetic field. It protects Earth from cosmic radiation from space and the solar wind from the Sun. The circling planets and satellites are natural magnets, similar to the corollas of immense flowers, in the garden of our Solar System.
