About The Artwork
nettle sting was taken on a hot summer day in a park next to the canals of Amsterdam. I gregariously went to touch the plants of the community garden and then bammm! got stung by a lusciously green nettle in its full splendor. The high that came afterwards was of the utmost altitude and hence in the search of something 'less planetary' I placed my hands on my pocket in where a few curcuma magically happened to be and started to chew on some of this juicy orange goodness to ground my senses on planet earth.

As a sociologist I'm constantly getting drawn to reflect on culture and on questions of tribal belonging.
