ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Tomato is a beautiful and healthy plant. In Italian, tomato means golden apple. Because of its color, the tomato symbolizes love. Tomato contains a set of elements that have a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system and help cleanse the body. Tomato is an important source of lycopene (a powerful antioxidant that has immunostimulating and anticancer effects, slows down the aging of the body) and glutathione (a substance that protects cells from toxic free radicals). Thanks to these properties, tomato is an indispensable product in any balanced diet, as well as in a low-fat diet, anti-cancer diet, etc. Therefore, I dedicated my work to this wonderful plant. The work was done in Macro mode, from many photographs placed on a stack. The French writer Stendhal has an interesting novel with the mysterious title "Red and Black".
