My name is Ines Šimek, I was born on 1977. in Osijek, Croatia ( Europe ) where I still live and I've been doing photography since 1998. Over the years I sent my works to numerous photo competitions in Croatia as well as abroad. Some of these works were rewarded and some of them were accepted and included in exhibitions. Themes of my works are various, but I'm always trying to capture moment or scene exactly how I saw and felt it. To get images I want, I use natural light because it provides variety of colors, tones and games of light and shadows which I love. Looking through my works, on most of them, whether they are in B&W or color, I'm trying to deliver that few seconds of perfection, beauty and tranquility from what surrounds me. I leave it to the viewer to find their own personal interpretation or emotion from each work.
