ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I bought this olive oil and balsamic vinegar bottle and whenever you would shake it, would create this amazing slow moving bubbles of balsamic though the oil, sometimes looking like a different planet. Took a picture of it and passed it through some filters and the result is incredibly beautiful, looking like a lot of suns setting down at the same time on a distant planet.

Made in Transylvania Alex Pasca, also sometimes identifies himself as Wolfie, was born in Transylvania in 1985, and has a mixed heritage of Romanian, Hungarian, German and Macedonian. He loved to draw as a kid, including his mom’s wallpaper which might have gotten him in trouble a couple of times. Later in life he pursued different career paths, moving in a few different countries which put him in contact with different cultures around the world, learning something from every encounter. Except for occasionally painting a landscape or a scenery, he didn`t see art more than a hobby. In 2020 someone special came along and gave art back to him with a simple gift of two oil beginner sets and brushes, that was his defining moment as an artist. He let all the creativity flow, made mistakes, repainting over the paintings he has made, learning and continuously honing his skills. He experimented with different mediums and styles, eventually creating his own. And that brings us to today, he is still working, you might see him sketching on the tube in a little sketchbook, or in an exhibition talking with someone about his work, and the emotions behind it. Just look out for him, he`s always down for a good conversation.
