ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Malibu California, home to the Chumas Indians, is one of the most magical places on earth. Westward Beach, adjacent to Zuma beach, is a lesser known famed tourist and surfing destination. Many photo shoots, shows and movies are filed here. This was taken on a beautiful day leading up to a Santa Ana wind storm. This is one of my favorite locations to shoot.

My approach to photography is not limited to a time, place, camera setting or style. I have spent the last several years taking a terminally ill family member on the road trip of a lifetime. We have experienced extreme heat, break downs, boondocking, fires, evacuations and nearly one hundred thousand miles of time on the road. Many of my photos are a result of these bucket list places and experiences. They are the truth as my eyes see it. Every photo has a deep connection to my life and special place in my heart.
