About The Artwork

Atomic Swing is a Swedish pop-rock group formed in 1992. Their debut album, A Car Crash in the Blue, produced several hits. After an intense period, the band split up, in 1997. The band reunited in 2006 and their latest album is called The Broken Habanas. The Atomic Swing repertoire spans both dynamic and upbeat pop-rock hits and softer ballads, all characterized by Niclas Frisk's special vocal style and inventive guitar tracks.

Peppe Arninge is a freelance contract journalist and photographer since mid-1990's for Sweden's national news agency TT (former SCANPIX SWEDEN) and affiliated with AP, AFP, Reuters, DPA and Corbis (among others). He also worked under contract with New York-based picture agency WpN between 2005 and 2009. Parallel to this, he writes books and articles and lectures on a variety of subjects worldwide, specializing in S/E Asia. Based in both South East Asia and Sweden, his single pictures and photographic stories have regularly been published in almost every newspaper in Scandinavia. His work has also appeared in a variety of international publications such as the Los Angeles Times (US), Chicago Tribune (US), Mauritius Times, The Times (UK), Gazeta (PL), Helsinkin Sanomaat (FIN), Bangkok Post (TH), Focus (GER), Sacramento Bee (US), L'Espresso (IT), and Days Japan. The Swedish government, county councils, publishing houses, advertising agencies, PR consultants, commercial buyers and a wide range of web-based news providers and television stations around the world have showcased his images. His work has also been exhibited at art museums and European photo galleries. In 2010 he released his controversial photo book "The Dump" in collaboration with well-known Art Director Johan Stiernspetz, in which he criticizes the global aid policy in general and the assistance to Cambodia in particular. His second photo book "Ryd" was released in September 2011, in connection with one of the largest book fairs in Europe, and his third book, 3B7C, a photo book about the small island of Saint Brandon, Mauritius, was released in spring 2013. All of Peppe Arninge's books can be found in the Royal Library's collections and can be purchased via Amazon and international internet book retailers.
