ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This portrait is inspired by the pictorialist lighting used by artists like Rembrandt, that style of lighting always seemed wonderful to me, and to be able to achieve it in a picture suggests certain challenges that I always find interesting when it comes to express myself artistically. The portrait is a mix between the modern and the antique, a modern woman with an almost religious pose. The expression of the model's eyes, the pose of her hand, everything comes together in a beautiful portrait of which I am very proud of.
