ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is part of a series of images that I call the Intuition Walk. It was made on a morning that I felt the call to go for a walk in a desert beach in order to connect with my emotions. I noticed this group of pelicans swimming close to the shore. They formed a large group, leisurely floating on the water’s surface. Some gracefully took flight, resembling a beautifully orchestrated ballet, and diving into the water in search of food. Others would take flight when a wave approached and return to the surface as it receded. I pondered how, much like us, they too seemed to enjoy their recreation moments at the beach— a mini vacation of sorts. I stood there, contemplating their beauty, and began capturing photographs of them. You can learn more about the process behind this image on the Articles section in my website:
