About The Artwork
This particular piece of work was inspired by the Chobe Elephants in Botswana, Africa despite being targeted by poachers, they are on the rise, their numbers keep on increasing thereby allowing Botswana to be one of the best tourist destinations in Africa. The traditional dancer's pose depicts the rise of an elephant with his hands held like elephant ears and the orange colour represent the Kalahari Desert that covers majority of Botswana land.
