ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The oldest saddle horse in the world. The Lusitano has survived as a pure breed through centuries of social and political change in the Iberian territory, and although its roots can be traced back several centuries, it was in Portugal in 1967 that the Stud Book was founded registering the breed. "With a noble and disciplined appearance, the Lusitano horse looks intelligent and superb, however its humility and friendship give it a predisposition to serve. Its personality seems to include a certain sense of humor, but above all, what stands out about the Lusitano horse is its heart" .
