Artist and professional photographer, Arik lives and creates in Israel and teaches Art Photography at Tel Aviv’s Artistico School of Photography. Passionate about abstract photography, in 2009, he was awarded first prize in the Abstract Photography category, Center for Photographic Art (CPA) International Juried Photography Competition in Florida. For Arik, abstract photography is the most creative and inspiring art form. This is where takes an otherwise ordinary shot and captures it at just the right light, angle or focus, to create a masterpiece of colors, patterns and textures. In the words of Elliot Erwitt, “Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” Arik's photographic art is based on profound observation, where every photograph presents thought-provoking composition and his own unique point of view.
