I was born and raised on the Isle of Man, a small idyllic island in the middle of the Irish Sea. I spent the early part of my life travelling the world playing sport for my country and backpacking to all four corners of the world. These days I still like to travel, but at a much slower pace. Still living on the Isle of Man with my Finnish girlfriend Tanja and our precious ragdoll cat Saku. I've been lucky enough to see so many wonderful things around the world and as a self taught photographer I try to capture those places as best I can so I can enjoy them for a lifetime. I have had some of my photographs featured in the Africa Geographic magazine and last year out of an entrance of over 40,000 people had one of mine reach the final 100 in the Photographer of the Year competition, an event mostly comprising of the world's best professional wildlife photographers, so as an amateur I was delighted. Digital art is a new passion of mine, turning some of my own favourite photographs into wall art. Self taught again I have found this art form to be most enjoyable, giving me the chance to express myself maybe more creatively than before and finding the whole process quite exciting.
