My beginnings in photography part of my time as a student at the Autonomous University of Madrid where I graduated. My goal has been to seek sensations. The strong contrasts between colors and diffuse forms usually are not seen and yet in our environment are so ephemeral and unrepeatable. Try to find ways to transmit sensations, images that evoke feelings that vary depending on the mood and the particular time. Like looking for shapes in the clouds, but with the strength of color contrasts. My photography is heavily influenced by the painters of abstract art museum Cuenca (Spain), where I spent many times and watching the pictures of these painters every time I saw things felt different. In any case, they are digital photographs in which only has adjusted the contrast. My start in carving was much later, trying to recycle a few pieces of olive wood that caught my attention. Woodcarving has hooked me like when you start reading a book and you can not leave because you want to know the end ... As I'm working on a project me new ideas and try to finish to begin the next. All my woodwork are made to blow gouge and mallet, completely by hand. I use for it, woods of different type and origin and in many cases know where that tree has lived and historical events that have taken place in their habitat. Work has also had a strong influence of painters like P.Picasso, J.Pollock or O.Guayasamin. Despite the undoubted influences of my favorite painters, both in photography and in my sculptures, I print my personal touch to each, always looking for that image that attracts and to which you want to look for a meaning that can not have. Personal experiences and events are reflected in both the base colors of photography as in each of the sculptures, they reflect moments that have marked me throughout these years and therefore each of these pieces is a little what I am.
