Inspired by the works of the famous surrealist Rene Magritte, using the same visual technique, the author reinterprets one of his metaphors, where the apple as a symbol of knowledge is replaced by a wallet with money, as a symbol of what a modern man is striving for, because in the modern world everything is bought and sold. But the author is inclined to believe that the wallet is not the prism of the person in the photograph, but ours, an outside observer, mercantile desires that close our view of other people.
