ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In 2007 on my first trip to NYC i took this photo on a cold december day. Since then i am in love with NYC and lived there between 2014 and 2019. NYC inspires me on so many levels, its these moments when i just feel to take a shot. In this case i felt changing it with photoshop, but in a way that the original will still be visible, but sth more emerged. An X, so i called it "proteXion", that people incl me protect NYC with their love. And i felt so much colorful love from the people and the city itself. To make it more unique i used acryl paint. This artwork has pleased many viewers in certain exhibitions all over germany.
