ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Elegance of black, gray and white is distinguished in it's effect and ease to incorporate in most settings. Bauhaus design was extensively using this principles and is popular to this days. New York has affinity to simplicity of such combinations to the point of signature style. Living in NYC for most of my life, gave me sensitivity to such contrasts and appreciation of it's effects. Painted on a plate with oils and pressed on printmaking paper by running it through antique etching press. Paper size: 15"×11" (38 x 28 cm) Image size: 7"×5" (18 x 12.4 cm)
