About The Artwork
This painting is part of a project called Tiny Obstacle. Tiny Obstacle is a collaboration between my one year old daughter Charley Jo and me. The goal is to work with the flow of being an artist and mother and let each influence the other instead of separating the two. Artist Statement: Mother. Artist. Two jobs working in complete harmony. Each informing the other in hopes that creativity oozes out of all that is attempted in art and in life. This painting was influenced by a half eaten graham cracker. I inked the cracker and used it as a stamp to make this painting. Made with acrylic on organic bamboo paper
