ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This art piece carries a distinctive part of each of the major tribes in Nigeria. Its also inspired by the philosophies of body proportions and music in traditional African society. Music in African society is considered an integral part of life and is used in almost every activity. Thousands of tunes from different instruments are composed using locally made instruments for many purposes which include ceremonial and ritual purposes. I hope to pass on a beautiful piece of home and the warmth of culture to those who find this work appealing.
