About The Artwork

I was born and brought up in India and have seen conches being used for various reasons. It symbolises purity ,auspiciousness and is known to be sacred. They are eye catching , mystical objects and continue to fascinate me. What I find most interesting most about conches, is the sound they produce when they are blown. It is absolutely soothing and gives a very fast and infinite feeling to the one whose hearing it. My search for this vastness has brought this art work to life. Medium- Metal Skin over Composite of Stone, Glass & Polyester Resin | Granite
