Art Description

Sculpture: Metal, Steel, 3D Sculpting, Bronze on Bronze, Iron, Steel, Stainless Steel, Other.

Stephen created this Steampunk Singer Horse Sculpture from 100’s of pieces of silverware, gears, springs, nuts, bolts, sewing machine parts, typewriter parts, and a Singer Sewing Machine, circa 1930. He has captured the horse’s lively gait in motion.

Quarter inch welding rods are formed into the shapes of the legs. Typewriter parts fill out the legs and the head. Over 45 pieces of silverware form the mane and tail. Bobbins form the eyes, and sewing machine hinges form the cheeks. This is Horse number 8. A typewriter key number 8 is welded to his chest. The Singer brass trademark emblem is attached to his nose. The sculpture is clear coated then signed and numbered. Maybe the next winner at the Derby!

The sculpture is signed and dated by Stephen. The sculpture will be shipped safely in a custom wooden crate. If you have questions about this or any of my sculptures, feel free to contact me. I will contact you as soon as I can.
Thank you for your interest in my work!

Warm regards,
