Tile “Layered Composition” is a work infused with the vibrant colors of Hawaii where it was made. The ocean, plants and sky have been abstracted, along with my own visual language, to create this one of a kind ceramic wall hanging tile panel. All of my work is different - there are no two alike. Each is an experiment in design. This art piece is cabled with marine grade stainless for wall display. The piece can hang in four different orientations. I have been working with clay for over 34 years. My work is in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian's American Museum of Art, Renwick Gallery
