ALLA GRANDE is a german visual artist, designer und architect. She studied art and architecture, combining structural awareness with a deep sensitivity for material, form, and rhythm. Today focuses primarily on textile-based work. From a young age, she showed a strong sensitivity for material and form – first through fashion design, then through painting and sculpture. "While I explored various materials and created both paintings and 3D sculptures early in my career, I eventually returned to textiles – the medium that had always been present in my life." Her works are made from natural materials such as gauze, cotton, and textile fibers, which she shapes and weaves in a process-oriented, often meditative manner. Her work explores the relationship between form, structure, perception, and consciousness. In her continuous search for new modes of expression, Alla Grande pushes the boundaries of color, scale, and texture.

Her current practice centers on large-scale textile wall pieces that explore philosophical and social themes. With her distinctive visual language – “painting with textiles” – she creates unique works that resonate strongly in the fields of architecture and interior design, particularly in high-end hospitality and corporate environments.
