Symfony of life Sculpture

Born on the 23rd October 1972 in Nova Gorica (Slovenia), Sebastjan Peršolja is Internationally recognized contemporary artist. Up until today he had a total over 120 solo exhibitions and 80 group exhibition in his home country and around the world. He became famous as the author the "Sceptre of Beauty" which was received to the winner of Miss World in Seychelles, 1998 and bestowing his graphic arts to the 98 representatives, which also competed for the title Miss World. His works are owned by many illustrious and famous personalities, in primis the lyrics and master singer Luciano Pavarotti and are present in many private and public collections on all continents. In 2017 he participated, guest of artist Miro Persolja in the 57th Venice Biennale - International art exhibition with 2 sculptures "The mermaid in the Lagoon" in Carrara marble, present in the enchanting scenography of the gotchic Palace Zenobio, seat of the Armenian republic.Curator Dr.Giorgio Gregorio Grasso. In 2023 he received prestigious Award Jacopo da Ponte from Spoleto Art Factory and his President Dr.Salvo Nughes and Award Premio Maestri a Miami and in 2024 International Award Premio Los Angeles Star dell Arte from curator Dr.Barbara Romeo and Effetto Arte Foundation and his Scientific Committe and 1 st Award "Grand Master of art Giotto" Firenze 2024 from Artexpo Gallery,curators Dr.Rosanna Chetta and Mariarosaria Belgiovine. "Sebastjan is an artist that has undergone the charm and beauty of surrealism as represented by the illustruious masters such as Giacometti, Brancusi and Archipenko, going with his class, also beyond the lesson and heritage of the great masters. It goes without saying that his sculpture and his painting represent and express, explicitly, an incredible emotional and experiental path, where all the strenght and expressiveness of the artist appear, who puts soul, imagination and creativity into every one of his work, and it should be noted that he uses his hands cleverlyand magically, searching, in every way to establish a dialogue, a construtive, intimate, profound and visionary correspondence between his "other self" and the unpredictable and passionate viewer, who, Sebastjan Peršolja acutely renders protagonist and absolute interpreter of the scene. The art of Peršolja has always been a timeless dream that overwhelms his opus and life itself, which now and forever will live, symbolically, for the future of art itself.
