About The Artwork
"Twist and shout" originated from my desire to produce a stained glass sculpture with no straight lines. The sides and middle are internally strengthened and it has two legs made of 316 marine grade stainless steel 4mm rods. It is weather proof so it can either be placed outside, or inside. The red glass is highly reflective, iridescent and translucent. An unusual combination which means it changes appearance drastically as light conditions and the angle of viewing change. I find all my stained glass garden art takes on a life of its own, that always needs checking when in the garden, or looking at the garden. The legs slide into lead channels soldered onto the back. They can be removed and shortened if required. The panel is 21 inches (53cm) tall and the legs are 12 inches (30cm) making the total length 33 inches (83cm). At its widest it is 2.75 inches (7cm).
