About The Artwork

Wall mask Winking will fit into the interior of a brave, creative and cheerful person. A face with a smile and a winking eye is an author's handmade wall sculpture for a bedroom or living room. Handmade art is always an exclusive and exclusive work that no one has.  A smiling caricature face will become a highlight in your home interior and will attract the attention of others and will cheer you up.  Looking at this figure, you smile and positive emotions arise in your head. The sculpture is full of energy with which I want to share with you, so that you would have a good mood and spend the whole day great. The workpiece is cast from high-strength sculptural plaster, with a metal suspension in order to hang on the wall.  I’ve thought through it: each hollow, each fold and wrinkle for a unique and original transmission of a combination of a smile of an expressive and humorous face, I hope you will appreciate it. An eye lens with a photo of the iris and pupil looks like it is alive. Holding this work of art in your hands, you feel all the energy invested in the work on the sculpture. A real sculpture made of natural pure gypsum material. The wall mask is truly a highlight of my works. It takes 3 days to make this figure. To do this, when manually molding, I pour liquid gypsum into the prepared mold with fastening. When gypsum solidifies (crystallizes), a very strong structure is created, similar to concrete building slabs.

My name is Anton Titov, I live in Russia, I am self-taught, I invent and do all my works myself. The first idea to make something similar to a sculpture appeared in childhood, at the age of 13. This is my main vocation. I am deeply convinced that sculpture is not only art, it is the transmission of information through the years, centuries, the transmission of the author's mood, his ideas and thoughts. The thoughts contained in my works change people's ideas and lives. Of course, there is such a favorite sculpture, I realized my idea, made a mask that I fell in love with. It may sound ridiculous, but it's so great that when I go to bed I put it next to me. In my works I use different materials - stucco plaster, fireclay clay, less often fiberglass, acrylic, wood, metal accessories, wire. Creating a work from two months to five days, depending on the state of mind and the interweaving of ideas in the head. Yes, many hands are involved in my work. Hands are a unique, biological, anatomically correct, living "instrument" ideally adapted to life. Hands are capable of transmitting a tremendous amount of information through gestures, finger positions, and location. This is all mysticism. There is no special secret, you need to fall in love, just fall in love with what you are doing, otherwise nothing will work out. Some of my clients take my work in hand and say they feel energized. It is worth noting that all ingenious ideas arise before bedtime. I am the same as everyone else, just sometimes philosophical thoughts come to mind, and embodying them in sculpture is my way.
