What do you experience as a person among other people? And how do you deal with everything that is going on in the world? With my sculptures, I give form to emotions. To feelings as vulnerability, strength, power, powerlessness, loneliness, and connectedness. Many sculptures are not sprouht from one source. Often many thoughts and feelings are fused in one sculpture. Materials I work with are glass, ceramics, bronze, textiles, and composites. Often you only see part of a person or animal. There are inter-growths between man, plant, and tree. Sometimes you only just see something human-like. I'm a dutch artists working in Leiden, I have studio in a big creative complex. My work consists of autonomous works and works for public space and buildings. Some of my works are collected by musea and private collectors. I am a member of 'sculpture network Europe' and the 'Dutch circle of sculptors'
