About The Artwork
Beautiful piece of porcelain hand painted in five burnings between 780º and 840º. Making five burns is very risky, according to tradition, the piece usually breaks into the oven at the last burn, yet I decided to take a chance, and I liked the final result. The work was made with special pigments that contain brilliance and also with gold. The peacock in the traditions of the east is known as a bird of paradise and serves as a mount for the gods, that inspired me a lot. The peacock is connected with the intuition and the third eye symbolically because the design of its feathers is in the form of eyes.
