Being in nature feels like coming home within myself. I feel like a little girl playing in nature. Connecting with the sun, the moon, the trees, wind, earth, water, light and shadow; nature's energy and vitality. Qi. I feel space, peace, wonder and inspiration. I hope that other people will experience these feelings through my work.​

My projects 'Sunscapes', 'Moonscapes' and 'Emptiness and desire' consist of abstract, painterly photographs, for which I use my camera as a paintbrush. The camera is my paintbrush, the light the ink, the line my breath.

The images are the result of a long, creative process in which I play with rhythm and pace, slowing down and accelerating, shapes and colours, looking for harmony and contrast at the same time, to control and let go.

Total focus and one single relaxed exhalation are required to create smooth and energetic lines.

Everything I touch in one movement flows together into one image.

I do not manipulate the images in any way, just a basic finish in Photoshop. Everything in the picture was captured on camera, in a single image.

Education:
I'm a self-taught photographer. As a child, my parents took me into the mountains, where I observed my father, who was a very passionate nature photographer. I have been photographing since I was 10 years old. Painting (Japanese ink painting, sumi-e), Argentine tango, qigong and experiences in life have deepened and supported my artistic work. I have been working fulltime as a professional photographer since 2008.
