My passion is with landscape and abstract photography, having been inspired by many acclaimed photographers, including Charlie Waite.

The pleasure obtained from scouting out a new location, to setting up my equipment and then waiting for the perfect moment to press the shutter release, provides a huge sense of calm and peace and offers an opportunity to share these moments.

Absorbing myself into the moment, analysing the scene in front of me and capturing different compositions, perspectives and how the light dances across the scene, is a joyous thing to witness and admire.

For over 30 years I have been capturing images that inspire others, as well as myself. From my earlier days using 35mm film, or a Bronica 6x6 and developing my own prints in the garden shed, to today's modern digital examples, I have always maintained one important factor, that is to capture an image as close as possible to its true form, with the minimal amount of editing or post processing.

The true art of photography is capturing an image through the lens that is awe inspiring, without the need to spend hours post processing.
