Artist biography
Sandra Vick is a painter living just outside Edinburgh at the foot of the Pentland Hills Regional Park. Sandra came to art later in life, completing a foundation diploma at Leith School of art, and going on to study drawing and painting at Edinburgh College of Art as an undergraduate and then won a scholarship for postgraduate study. In her recent work, Sandra is interested in exploring our place in the landscape, and about how it is part of us and we are part if it. Sandra works in a variety of media to explore her theme, including watercolour, acrylic and oil. Sandra’s paintings have been exhibited across the UK and are in private collections worldwide.
