Sarah Kent

"Inspiration for me occurs from the atmosphere, natural ecology, interesting people, and music." Born in Livingston, NJ Sarah Kent spent her early years in a multi-cultural rich environment. After graduating high school in remote Sussex County, NJ, Sarah moved to the South Jersey area and enrolled at Rowan University. There she studied and absorbed the cultural scenes of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. She took a leave of absence and journeyed to India, discovering many amazing life changing matters. Later, she studied fine art at the Art Center of South Florida and the Art Students League of NYC. She was offered half scholarships at both the Vermont Studio Center and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, but did not attend either program.

"I love light, brightness, diverse cultural scenes, and vibrancy. I picked up and moved to Miami and found a plethora of art exhibits, concerts, and ballet performances." She lived in Coral Gables, South Beach, and the Design District. "Wherever I moved I arranged still life's in my home environment living space and photographed nature, funny, and interesting things."
