Sasho Filev

I'm born 14 June 1946 in the town of Dobrich, Bulgaria.
Living and working since 1952 in the town of Veliko Tarnovo.
From 1992 I have there my own atelier and gallery “FilArt”.

Beside artist painter I'm also a teacher for fine arts at some of the high schools in my town.
Active in cultural, society and artistic life of the "Old Capital", and since 2016 citizen of honour of the town of Veliko Tarnovo, member of de Bulgarian Society of Artist and Rotary Club Veliko Tarnovo.

Sasho Filev's paintings and graphic art are part of the collections of musea in Veliko Tarnovo, Dobrich, Targovishte, Varna, Sofia and in private art collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Romania, Russia and Venezuela.

For all my paintings I can issue a certificate that it is an original work made by me.

1966 - graduated at Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia
1972 - graduated at University "Kiril and Methodius" in Veliko Tarnovo for figurative art.
