Sharon Magill

I am a Cardiff based artist exploring themes of isolation, loneliness and solitude, identity and place. I work in various media including video, sound, photography and printmaking processes.

I create participatory projects inviting others to collaborate to create shared experiences and artworks.

My work examines the psychological spaces of domestic and exterior place with themes including solitude and isolation to communicate the silences of the space we exist, internally, within our mind and externally.

The work often relates contrasting elements of light and dark, seen and unseen, voice and voiceless, expression and suppression.
