Sigifredo Camacho

Sigifredo Camacho is an Ecuadorian artist and sculptor. Born in 1956 near Loja, Ecuador, Camacho graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Loja in 1980 and continued to work there as Professor of Painting & Drawing for 10 years. He now lives in Pietrasanta, Tuscany, Italy where he has his studio and has completed a postgraduate degree in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, Carrarra, Italy.

Sigifredo’s work has been exhibited across Latin America, Europe and Asia and most recently, at solo exhibitions in Berlin, Kuala Lampur and Jakarta. His paintings are held in both public and private collections, including at the Vatican Museum, Museum of Pietrasanta and United Nations in Geneva.
