Silvia Mihai

I’m an Eastern European artist based in New York and originally trained in traditional oil painting. My work involves the use of traditional techniques in combination with the spontaneous dynamics of acrylic paint. While I’m influenced by my training what really drives me is the need to keep exploring and to ask questions about the human experience. What you’ll find in my work is my honest curiosity and emotion as I search to understand and connect with the world.
