The work of Simon Dalemans is focused on the observation of our environment (whether urbanised or natural) and its transformation over time. One of the central points in his practice is metamorphosis, both at the level of the forms and at the level of mechanisms of use of objects. His works vary in their words and tend to address different discourses depending on the series. Nevertheless, he has always been attached to echoing, reflect (in the physical sense) an activity (often human) on our environment. More formally, it attaches itself to material in its various forms, whether brutal or soft, metamorphosed.
