Slomokazi Jali

Am from eThekwini, kwaBanana, eDubane, the Dirtbin which is correctly named Durban, in South Africa.
I currenlty live in Jozi, kwaDonga ziyaduma aka the same Johannessburg that Gill Scott Heron sang about.
I'm influenced my street art, grafitti, old school signage, hand doodling, little drawings made in notebooks during meetings, my surroundings, my upbringing and most definitely my imagination.
I express all those influences in illustrations, that I doodle and hand draw then finish them digitally.

Initially I studied Graphic Design from Durban University of Technology, and then sorta branched off into Marketing and Branding.

I held a solo exhbition in 2015 at Rivertown, in Durban.
