Stephanie Biville

Born in 1965 in Versailles, I escaped both a quite conservative world and the feeling of being different "thanks" to a double vision drawing comics. I later switched to oil painting keeping my sketching abilities from these early days.


My work is purely imaginative. I don't use any pictures whatsoever, but prefer inventing stories of people who do not exist. I like painting these fictionnal portraits. I hope to encounter once the double of a character I "created"...

I studied management at University Paris Dauphine : a different world that didn't take me away from my artistic inspirations as I continued drawing on every kind of support including my textbooks.,
