Svetozar Dimitrov

Svetozar Dimitrov is a Bulgarian abstract painter who draws inspiration both from aesthetic stimuli -- shapes, colors, light -- and from feelings and ideas. His strong interest in architecture and politics often finds its way onto his canvas. Even though his works are abstract Dimitrov identifies with Rene Magritte's philosophy, distilled in his phrase: "I make use of painting to render thoughts visible".

Currently a doctoral candidate in History of Ideas at Freie Universitaet - Berlin, Germany.
