Tessa Allen

Tessa Allen (born 1993, UK) studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at The University of Lincoln and is a practising artist.

Allen’s current work combines two-dimensional imagery with three-dimensional materials such as stone and concrete. These materials are used as a communication tool between mythology and personal identity. Whilst showing in many group exhibitions within the university and around Lincolnshire, she has been involved with several projects such as ‘No Working Title’ at Tate Modern in 2013. She has completed several voluntary roles which led her to work alongside artists such as ‘WIFE’ from Los Angeles, on their first exhibition in Europe. Current projects in 2014 include ‘Be Still’ which has been exhibited in several shows such as ‘Post-It’, ‘BIG’ and will also be part of the Fine Art Degree show ‘Translated Thoughts’.
