René Golker

First experiences with different wood techniques during my training as an artisan (engraver) shaped my artistic development and further work. This set the course that manifested itself early in my strong connection to nature. Because of its calming and fascinating effect I chose wood as my working material and combine it with my motifs. A distinctive feature of my work is the fusion of man and nature, creating an image reminiscent of human origins.
