Timothy Holt (b. 1988) is a focused contemporary artist, commonly labelling himself as a "Technical Sculptor". Often incorporating the audience, his work concentrates upon the transformation of discarded domestic appliances to create new forms, whilst also retaining part of the original object. His playful nature of naturally manipulating these so"”called purposely designed devices highlights an embellishment of the everyday.

The works on show closely resemble the "manufacture program" in turn questioning the boundaries between art and object senses; systematically dipping into design. Subsequently his constructed series of numbered "artefacts" serve the means for creating an intellect of identity, civic, collective...and even personality. The issues addressed in the fabricated and casual pieces are used to shape perceptions of how objects are perceived.
