Self-taught artist and photographer Tony Mihok was born in Budapest, Hungary, December 31, 1948 and emigrated to Canada during the 1956 Hungarian revolution. He became interested in art and photography at an early age and had his first art show in 1968 at The Oakville Centennial Gallery.
After working as a freelance photographer in the greater Toronto area for over 30 years, Tony relocated to Ottawa
to pursue his life long dream to become a full time artist.
Tony uses various painting styles and mediums. He is equally comfortable with both paintings and photographs.
