Roberto Torterolli

I worked for 27 years as an Art Director at advertising agencies, and drew many illustrations for a wide range of publications during this period. But truth be told: the business was no longer making sense to me.

It was time to move on.

Art has always been a tremendous driving force in my life, and I was already attending EAV (Parque Lage Art School) in Rio de Janeiro. So I decided to have it a go. Since 2014 I've been fully committed to my art career, first digging deep into human forms and more recently dealing with abstract painting and composition.

Most of my work is done at the Art School, specially life drawing. Painting and abstract composition is mostly done at my studio, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
