Im 56yrs old divorced father of 3 children, grandfather of 11 grandchildren and very thankful to have been blessed with each and every one of them. Ive been having heart attacks & strokes over the last 2yrs but was very fortunate to have made it too the hospital and received a D.P.shot in time so I dont show too much outward physical damage Im a little slow and spacey but thankful that i can speak and walk.I had 2 businesses a tree service I specialized in residential hazardous tree removal and a moving & hauling service that I ran with my son.(Nick) as you can see very demanding hard physical labor that I wont be able to do anymore,(forced retirement)A .blessing in disguise?well I definetaly have alot more time on my hands and plan on drawing as much as posible as long as the good lord lets me
I,m a self taught artist no schooling let me explain when I was in 2nd grade I entered a (be kind to animals week) humane society art contest at my elementary school.I drew a woman nursing and wrapping up a dogs(german shepherd) sore paw.I was only in 2nd grade and I did a very good job I was very proud of my drawing than the day just before the judging my teacher told me to take it home and paint it and I knew right then that she dint believe that I did it all by myself it was a good drawing and to paint it would just destroy it up till then I never did any painting besides finger painting all I cared about was drawing with a # 2 pencil I was mad and instead of taken it home I took It off the wall and went to a table in the back of the classroom got me some water colors and deluded the paints enough to where my drawing bled through dog was brown, black and a little yellow, lady was brown hair, blue dress and I just splashed the colors on and noticed the paper was starting to shrivel up ,now this drawing was about 25x18 in I was watching my art just shrivel up I was'nt mad anymore I was sad I worked on it all week every day after school but then I just started painting the whole picture with plain water so that all the paper was w...
