Born in Crimea, In Kerch on Junuary 11, 1960.

Sea, sun, sky and mountains... Unique and charming nature of the Crimea, old streets and attractions of its towns... Boats, fishermen, seagulls... These are Vladimir Kuts’s main sources of inspiration. His pictures by their texture are akin to blank verses – emotional, impetuous and significant, and at the same time not deprived of harmonicity and inner beat. Can’t but quote outstanding Leonardo da Vinci: “Art is Poetry that can be seen, and Poetry is Art that can be heard”.

Pictures of the artist are presented in private collections of Ukraine, Russia, Great Britain, Japan, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Holland, Austria and the USA.

Painting by Vladimir Kuts «Ascension» is located in the Vatican Museum in personal collection of Pope John Paul II.

1973 -1974 – Fine Art Studio, Kerch.
1976 - finished children’s art school, Kerch.
1983 - finished Crimean art school named after Samokish.
1984 - entered restoration department of Kyiv State Art Institute. In two years and half he removed to the department of painting. Painting faculty of KSAI. Studio of Professor A.M. Lopukhov.
1987 - started creative activity.
1990 - graduated from Kyiv State Art Institute.
1990 - Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
2002 - finished post-graduated department of the Ukrainian Academy of Arts, Kyiv.
Since 1987 till 2000 - participant in over 30 Republican and All-Ukrainian exhibitions.
